Technical product desinger | Training at VAHLE

Technical products need a good design and an appealing layout in order to function well and be optimally manageable. Of course, this also applies in particular to our product range of mobile industrial applications for our customers. Responsible for this at VAHLE is the technical product designer specializing in machine and system design.

In addition to the analysis, conception, creation of prototypes and series support, your tasks as a Technical Product Designer at VAHLE also include the generation of ideas. You will work closely with our engineers and other product designers. During your training, in which you will be supported by many nice colleagues, you will learn how to use various programs to create and modify 3D data sets and documentation for components and assemblies. If you are interested in this apprenticeship, you should be creative, have a good imagination and a great interest in technical contexts.

With us, you will not only learn the practical side of the profession, but we will also not leave you alone with the theory. So that you can prepare as well as possible for the final exam, we offer you individual support. Your trainer will be happy to help you with any kind of technical questions.

Vocational school and duration of training

The training to become a technical product designer is a so-called dual training: You learn the theoretical basics at Hellweg Berufskolleg Unna, and the practical side at our company. The training lasts 3.5 years, but can be shortened if you perform well.
